For teachers and lecturers
Retrieval practice from the material you already teach.
Upload your slides, a reading or a worksheet. Get quizzes and flashcards checked against your material, assign them to a class with a join code, and see who needs help before the test does.
3-day Educator trial. No card. Students join free.

How teachers use it
Do now and exit tickets
Five questions from yesterday's lesson to open class, or three from today's to close it.
Retrieval starters
Spaced questions from units taught weeks ago, so knowledge does not fade before the exam.
Homework that marks itself
Assign a set; students get instant feedback and you get the scores.
Exam revision
Turn a revision guide or past syllabus into practice tests students can repeat.
Differentiate by level
Generate the same material at two levels for mixed-ability groups.
Export to paper or your LMS
Download any set as PDF or Word for a printed quiz, or as QTI and Moodle XML to import into Canvas, Blackboard or Moodle.
Questions that are fair to students
A bad question costs you credibility with a class. Every question is validated before you see it.
- The correct answer is backed by a passage from your material
- Each question makes sense without the handout in front of the student
- Distractors are plausible and correct answers are spread across A to D
- A mix of recall, application and analysis, at the level you choose
- Students see the source passage after answering, so feedback teaches
High school
Which part of the cell carries out photosynthesis?
Undergraduate
Why do C4 plants lose less carbon to photorespiration than C3 plants in hot, dry conditions?
Teacher questions
Do my students need email addresses?+
Students create a free account with any email or Google sign-in, then join with your six-character code. There is no roster import to manage.
Can I check the questions before students see them?+
Yes. Every set opens in an editor first. Change wording, swap answers, delete questions or add your own, then assign it.
What levels does it support?+
Questions can be pitched at high school, undergraduate, graduate or professional level, and mix recall, application and analysis. The same reading can produce an easier set for one group and a harder one for another.
Is student data private?+
Study sets are private unless you publish them. We do not sell data or show ads. Student progress is visible only to the student and the teachers of classes they joined.
How much does it cost?+
Teachers start with a 3-day free trial of the Educator plan, no card needed. Students in your class can use the free plan. Educator is $24 a month billed yearly.
