How we read Word documents
We read the .docx structure directly, keeping headings and paragraphs, so a long set of notes is split into topics before any questions are written.
Get the best results
- Use headings. They become the topics of your study guide.
- One document per unit keeps sets focused.
- Paste in your lecturer's learning objectives at the top to steer the questions.
What your quizzes include
- Multiple choice, true or false and short-answer questions written from your material
- An explanation for every answer, plus the passage it came from
- Distractors that are plausible, not obviously wrong
- Correct answers spread across A to D, so you cannot game the pattern
How you study them
Answer one question at a time with instant feedback. Wrong answers come back later in the session, and the ones you keep missing move into your review queue.
Best for: checking you understood a chapter, quick revision before class, finding weak spots early.
Things that trip people up with Word documents
- Old .doc files are not supported. Save as .docx first.
- Track-changes and comments are ignored; accept them first if they matter.
- Text inside images is not read from Word files. Export to PDF if your notes are mostly screenshots.
